Hi, my name is Jon, I live in Bergen, Norway.
Yesterday I helped Ferry and Marco with some collecting! After walking across hills and valleys, climbing barbed wire and almost drowning in swamps
, we finally found a nice spot for collecting dahlia anemones. We found some crabs, shrimps and flounders too.

Nou, nou...., met zo'n vangst aan Dahlia's hoef je volgend jaar niet meer te gaan voor dahlia's, jongens.....

Had a quick peek on your site....
Somewhere it says:
" I always look at my tanks to relax, and I just can't relax if the fish are stressed"
Well, I am in bad luck then, because any time I walk up to the pond they áll get in stress and are almost jumping out of the water to wanna get fed!!!!
And they keep that up for a pretty long time!
Now is feedingtime fun as they are pretty "domesticated"...uitsteeekend
But there are always some bully's big and fast enough to make it not easy to be fair to "all living creatures, big and smal"....
After my coming experience in september to the France coast, I am thinking about coming to the Norwegian coast with our camper.
How's the temp in oktober around where you live??
Do most Norwegians speak English? (my problem in France!!)

We wouldn't have found so many Dahlia's without you. Its always good to have local knowledge.
Zo nu dus eindelijk wat betere vangsten. We hebben Jon hier ontmoet in Noorwegen en die wist de juiste plekjes wel. Flinke wandeling door de Fjorden maar dan heb je ook wat.
Emmertje vol met Dahlia's, 1 Galathea, wat andere leuke krabbetjes, slakdolf.
Deze week gaan we ook nog naar een ander plekje waar de grotere Dahlia soort moet staan (25cm).

Als je niet wilt dat je zeenaalden uit je bak springen... kun je ze het best vervoeren bij de dahlia's......Powat

i have to say that your blogg was really fun to read
very interesting and educative !!
i really didn't like the large kelp that just took away to much room
but i understand that it probably fulfills it's duty in the system
but wauw what a fun tank to have
i can amagine when you live in norway that's a great fun and exciting hobby you got there
i hope you will start a new tank soon and place a link to your new blogg on our forum
what i did wonder was why you didn't have any really nice collored fish like the lipfish(wrasses) shown on this topic earlier for example

Thanks! I couldn't find small specimens of wrasses, except Corkwing wrasse, that I had many of. Adult size wrasses are to big for my taste, in a 1000 liter. I am a bit strict as to what fish I want in my aquarium. No fish that tries to get out through the glass. It stresses me ;-).
